A few weeks ago we launched the new website and branding for Bellingham Aero. Following up that launch, today the new website for Bellingham Fuel Service is online.
A standing room only crowd that showed up at Gallery 3131 for the opening night of Rachel Dory’s U-Turn exhibition. The audience apparently was impressed, too. By the time we arrived and muscled our way through the crowd over half of the paintings on display had already been sold.

SPARTA was asked to design a corporate identity and a website for Harringtons Staging a home staging company based in Seattle.
The launch of The TAXI!! Show happens tomorrow night, and we have a 100 foot checkered wall to prove it! Along with some other bizarre things and awesome art. (Special note to you Filter party people, it’s only 3 blocks away!) Also note The Forgotten Work’s 30 Day Challenge is opening at the OK Gallery (old OK Hotel) just around the corner, where 50 artists paint 30 canvases and sell them for around $40. Hope you can make it out for all the fun.

Taxis. Those iconic yellow transporters that zip us through the city’s grid. They get us to the airport on time. They get us home safely when we are no longer able to do so ourselves. They have interesting drivers. They come in great colors. They are in all different cities. They’re a mini carnival ride for your transition to and from. If you’re lucky you’ll actually catch one—because where the hell are they when you want one? If you’re even luckier, something exciting will happen while you travel in one.Explore the transition from foreign, moving, transitory space to familiar, stable, secure place through the works of an eclectic group of 20 including artists, photographers, and other creative-minded people.

SPARTA launches the redesigned website for Bellingham Aero. Bellingham Aero is an independently owned flight school, dedicated to introducing prospective pilots to the world of aviation. Located at Bellingham International Airport in northwest Washington, their office is just a short flight away from breath-taking views of the San Juan Islands, Mount Baker, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
SPARTA was asked to design a corporate identity and a series of communication carriers that would put Bellingham Aero ‘on the map’, clearly distinguishing them from their current competitors. After developing the visual language, SPARTA developed a series of carriers such as stationery and business cards. The project was finalized with the website launched today. www.BellinghamAero.com
In 2004 Bellingham Aero expanded to include an aviation fueling service; Bellingham Fuel Service. SPARTA will be launching a redesigned website for Bellingham Fuel Service in the next few weeks.

Sparta offers professional website design services to our highly satisfied global clientele. Many firms do not understand exactly how a professionally designed website differs from a site designed by a low budget firm, when from a visual perspective they can look similar.
It must be understood that construction of a website is not a straight-forward process, there are many varieties of code that can be used in its construction - some antiquated, some not; poor or obsolete coding may render the same visually now, however future browser versions of Internet Explorer may not offer support for your websites obsolete code, making it that much more important that you choose a professional firm that uses cross-browser compatible - compliant, coding.
Images are another difference, that on first glance their imperfections may not be noticeable, but their implications go beyond visual asthetics. Like code, images can be saved in no less than four different file formats, and a web designer must have an intimate knowledge of the web to know which format to choose for which image, and how far to compress the image; this knowledge ensures that your web page will load fast and images will be crisp.
A professional web design firm will address is that of server side scripting, so many amateur built websites offer none; what that means is that for future updates on your website you could end up needing as much as 100 times the work hours for an update that with server side scripting being used - may only take one hour. It is the difference between coding 100 files vs. 1 file.
Website Optimization is yet another factor that is fairly commonly ignored by inexperienced budget design firms. Proper coding, naming and tagging of pages with your desired keywords may sound simple, but to do this effectively takes years of experience and knowledge of major search engines.
A professionally designed website will convey the message of your industry, offer easy to use navigation, be search engine friendly, cross browser compatible, easy to update and more. These are all features that would be a very smart investment in the website of any corporation
